If you’re missing the Squamish Valley Music Festival (RIP), you’re in luck, because a new festival hopes to put Squamish back on the map. Dubbed the Squamish Constellation Festival, it will showcase music, craft beer, and food over 3 days.

Based on the current write up, the festival hopes to be one of the most inclusive in the country. Art installations will focus on representing female, indigenous and LGBTQ+ artists, and there will be an ‘interactive community legacy art creation’ available as well.

As for music, the genres include alt-pop, folk, indie, funk and brass/big bands. There will be blanket-style seating with separate dancing areas. There’s also an emphasis on family, with free entry for children 12 and under.

All in all, this festival is looking pretty solid, but we will check back in once the lineup has been released.
